Cancellations

I require a minimum of 24 hours’ notice to cancel an appointment. Failure to attend an appointment with less than 24 hours’ notice of cancellation will incur the charge for the full appointment. Appointments cancelled between 48 - 24 hours will receive 50% refund. You may reschedule your appointment giving at least 48 hours’ notice. Unfortunately, I am not able to reschedule any appointment with less than 48 hours’ notice free of charge. Same charges as cancellation fee apply. 

Refunds 

I do not offer refund on packages and gift vouchers once payment has been received. 

Appointments

You can make an appointment with Sense Therapies via website. If, on occasion, you wish to book outside of working times or days, please contact me either via the phone, email or website contact form and I will confirm availability.

Appointments are available from 60 minutes to 2 hours and up to 4 hours for a smaller group. 

Upon making a booking, you will receive an email confirming all the important details, along with an email reminder 2 days prior to your appointment.

If this is your first appointment, you will also receive a New Client Consultation Form and Covid-19 form. I require you to complete these forms prior to your appointment, otherwise the form completion will have to be done on the day included in your appointment time.

I retain the right to cancel any booking at my absolute discretion.

Confidentiality

Consultations and client treatment details will be confidential and will not be discussed with anyone other than the client, unless the client is under the age of 18 or has a care worker or guardian. 

As required by the law, I will retain your information for a certain period safely and securely.

Health & Safety

I am ITEC Level 3 qualified, hold a current First Aid certificate, and hold professional and public indemnity insurance, for the services that I provide.

If I am unwell, and if there is any risk of cross contamination, I will not be able to provide any treatments. This may result in me contacting you at the earliest opportunity to make suitable alternative arrangements.

If you are unwell, suffering from a cold or virus, infection or general ill health, please contact me at the earliest opportunity to rearrange your appointment. Please note that our Cancellation Policy may still apply.

Clients under the age of 18 years must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. This parent or guardian must give permission for the agreed massage plan to be performed, and will be requested to co-sign the New Client Consultation Form. They will be required to remain present throughout the appointment.

I hold the right to refuse any treatment if a client is physically or verbally abusive, or demonstrates inappropriate, aggressive, or sexual behaviour. Such behaviour may result in me leaving the premises immediately and may also result in criminal proceedings.

Massage should not be used in place of conventional medical care. Always consult your GP or a relevant health professional for medical attention and advice.
